Return Of The Mac
A few weeks ago, I had a rare bad meal at local haunt Hey Meatball. There's nothing less tasty than overcooked pasta. Dismayed, I've been avoiding it for a few weeks. I returned on Sunday but decided to try instead their meatball sub called The Rodfather ($12) after the restaurant founder. It was good, perhaps too much of a good thing. The toasted bread barely held together 3 large and tasty meatballs. Add some melted cheese, pesto, and a tomato sauce and you had a messy meal. Unlike the pasta, which you could pretend to be reasonably healthy, there was no denying the heart-clogging indulgence of this choice. Luckily, I had a vegetarian dinner planned for later to hopefully balance out the day's intake.
